Apple has launched Apple Invites, a new iPhone app designed to streamline event planning by making it easy to create and share custom invitations. The app allows users to personalize invitations, manage RSVPs, contribute to shared albums, and create Apple Music playlists. Apple Invites is available for download from the App Store and can be accessed via iCloud.com/invites. While anyone can RSVP, creating invitations requires an iCloud+ subscription.
According to Brent Chiu-Watson, Apple’s senior director of Worldwide Product Marketing for Apps and iCloud, Apple Invites integrates familiar features from iPhone, iCloud, and Apple Music to simplify event planning.
With Apple Invites, users can select images from their photo library or choose from a variety of backgrounds to create personalized invitations. The app also integrates with Maps and Weather to provide directions and real-time forecasts. Attendees can add photos and videos to a shared album to preserve memories, and Apple Music subscribers can create collaborative playlists.

Apple Intelligence enhances the app’s customization options. The Image Playground feature generates unique images from descriptions, and Writing Tools helps users craft invitation messages.
Hosts have complete control over their events. They can manage guest lists, share invitations via link, review RSVPs, and customize event previews. Guests can respond via the app or web without an iCloud+ subscription or Apple ID.
iCloud+ subscribers gain access to premium features such as expanded storage, Private Relay, Hide My Email, HomeKit Secure Video, and Family Sharing. Subscriptions for iCloud+ start at $0.99 per month.
Apple Invites is available for free on all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later.
